Day 3

Stop and imagine for a minute that God, who created the universe, and formed the earth, dressing it with mountains, oceans and countless species of animals - finally made what would be most precious to him - he made you.

If God is the master creator and you are his masterpiece, what kind of plan must he have for you? Wouldn't it make sense for it to be something great? I can tell you from my own experience that since I surrendered to God's plan, my life has never been more exciting, fun, and filled with wonderful surprises.

When we think of this word surrender, (or surrendering to something) we may have negative impressions (or feelings) about the whole idea. In the “worldly” sense, surrendering is what we do when we are defeated. In the “spiritual” sense, though, it’s actually the exact opposite. Surrendering to God is an act of spiritual victory and strength! Giving in to, or letting go so that God can have His way with our lives is the wisest thing you and I could ever do. It’s when you surrender that you start to discover all the amazing things that God has planned for you all along.

Ephesians 2:10

"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."

Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

""For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.""

1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT

"...No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."
